Throwing in the Half a Pancake 100k as an additional option for our two flagship events that day (200k Northern Pancake & 300k Pancake with Toppings). All three route from the family of Pancake rides stay together for the first 20 miles before the Half a Pancake splits off.
The "Half a Pancake 101k" is part of our regular winter program of 100k and 200k events. The route heads north to East Bethel, the only stop at the turnaround at mile 30. The route is flat and features quiet roads through fields, forests, and some lakes.
Starting Location Instructions:
Park on the North end of the TopGolf parking lot, next to the Speedway Gas Station (6545 W River Rd # 1, SW corner of HW252 & 66th Ave N.), the official start and ending location of the Pancake rides. To get to the parking lot, turn into Camden Ave N. from 66th Ave N.
Electronic Ride Waiver
We have worked with RUSA on an electronic ride waiver that we are now rolling out for all of our rides. This will replace our paper waivers at the start. We will still bring some as a backup. You can click here to go to the MN Randonneurs SmartWaiver page. Please fill out the form there with all the requested information. Once you click submit, an email with a download link of the electronic waiver will be sent to you, to the Minnesota RBA (Norman Ehrentreich), and to the RUSA insurance account. After that, you will be sent back to a landing page on the mnrando.org site that you can close.
