Join us for a classic tour of the western suburbs, including many lakes, bike trails and familiar roads. This is an old Jerry Hoffman route so does go by some potential libation locations. The classic finish at Punch Pizza is the perfect finish to an enjoyable ride in the heart of lake country.
The ride starts in the parking lot neart Caribou Coffee in the Cedar Commons Shopping area. Do not park near the businesses. If the lot is pretty full, consider parking in the Excelsior Business Center, just south of Excelsior Blvd on your left.
The ride ends at Punch Pizza, a great place to rehydrate and nosh on excellent pizza and salads. To return to the ride start, continue south one block, cross Lake Street and Caribou Coffee is on the right.
Note, there are numerous changes to the route, mostly due to LRT construction. We have updated the original route, from 2017, and believe it is pretty accurate, but keep your head up as you navigate the route, particularly through the LRT zones and check your GPS device frequently to ensure you are still on the course.
