This is a repeat of last year's popular Team Dart with start and finish at the RBA's house in Shoreview.
The Dart 120 team ride consists of several teams, each team (between 3 and 5 riders) with their own route, leaving the start location at the same time, returning 120k and 8 hours later to celebrate with the whole group. The ride starts at 8am at 904 Meadow Ave, Shoreview and finishes at 4pm at the same location. Please use side street parking in the neighborhood. House will be open for bathroom access and pre- and post ride socializing.
There will be a pool party & BBQ afterwards with brats & sauerkraut, German potato salad (homemade by the RBA himself), hotdogs, burgers, salad, watermelon, and cold drinks.
With the current rider list, we have formed the following teams. If you are registering right now, please send me an email with your preferred team (and maybe an alternate), so we can fill our teams. Also, if have a pop-up blocker installed, you won't get re-directed to our SmartWaiver page after registering. In that case, click on this link to fill out our electronic waiver.

With the current team structure, we still have room for 7 more riders. I know that there are some riders still sitting on the fence about joining, some riders are worried about some eventual rain early on (I bet we will be fine), so I assume we will make final team assignments on ride day. Be prepared to follow your leader.
Team Captains, I think the routes look all fine. But still choose your "control" stops and sit-down locations and pay attention to time management. Looks like all teams go through Scandia. My Team behind Bars plans on having our first stop at the New Scandia Cafe. For other teams, Scandia will be on the return leg and willl satisfy the last control stop requirement. Maybe you'll see each other there. But there are also other locations in Scandia, e.g., the Ozark Tavern. Last year, my team had time for three stops and took pride in finishing close to the 8 hour time limit. Riders, be prepared to just follow your Team Captain, stick together. No credit for being fast. See Dart rules below or check the RUSA website for the Dart rules. Here are some highlights:
The idea behind the dart is to ride as a group, to emphasize cameraderie by encouraging one or two sit down meals along the course and for the different teams to arrive at close as possible to the 8 hours time limit. After arriving at 904 Meadow Ave in Shoreview, we'll have a pool party with BBQ and beverages. Come prepared for hopping into the pools or hottub if interested (changing location available).
